Kultura
Isusulong at pagyayamanin ang kultura ng Pilipino
Indigenous peoples recognize culture as integral to their identity. Teddy Baguilat aims to bring this consciousness to legislation and to protect and promote not just the culture of IPs, but of all Filipinos. Teddy Baguilat believes that instilling pride in our heritage will encourage Filipinos to assert their identity in the global arena.
While in the House of Representatives, Teddy Baguilat initiated such measures as the integration of indigenous culture in the school curriculum and the promotion of the Philippine music industry. Teddy Baguilat will sustain his advocacy for culture and push for laws protecting and promoting the various aspects of Philippine culture, including intellectual creations.

Kalikasan
Ipagtatanggol at kakalingain ang kalikasan
Climate change is the issue of our time. All other concerns of the human race will be moot because the extinction of our species is certain if climate change is not addressed NOW. Teddy Baguilat believes that climate change can be arrested -- and hopefully reversed.
Just as he has spearheaded and supported such measures as the sustainable management of forests, the improvement of working conditions of environment and natural resources personnel, and an alternative minerals management bill, Teddy Baguilat will continue to pursue the promotion of a green economy, the curtailment of wasteful consumption, the preservation and enrichment of our remaining ecosystems, and other similar initiatives.

Karapatan
Ipaglalaban ang karapatan ng bawat Pilipino
Freedom from hunger, freedom to learn and to know, freedom to achieve one’s fullest potentials without harming other people – these are among the many rights inherent in each Filipino. As a public servant and as a private citizen, Teddy Baguilat consistently advocated against the death penalty and in favor of freedom of information, access to education and health, and the protection of human rights in general.
Teddy Baguilat championed laws such as the Free Wi-Fi Act and the 105-Day Maternity Leave law, and he will continue to protect and promote the people’s rights through laws that recognize interests that cannot be compromised.

Katutubo
Ang tunay na may K sa Senado.
The foundation of Teddy Baguilat’s advocacies is the perspective of indigenous peoples. Indigenous peoples confront challenges by building consensus, by forging agreements among competing concerns to come up with solutions that bind instead of divide the community. At the same time, they recognize that the protection of the environment, the preservation of one’s identity, and the defense of rights cannot be compromised. These are the convictions that Teddy Baguilat has maintained throughout his life, and the ones he will bring to the Senate.
